We’re interested in everything the Waisman Center does. We also believe that we should give back to our alma mater.

Parents Enrichment Fund
Parents play a vital role in the success of their children. At the University of Wisconsin-Madison, they also play a vital role in the quality of their children’s education.
Since 1989, 122,000 parents have contributed a total of $5.8 million towards the Parents Enrichment Fund. In recent years, the focus of the Parents Fund has been the UW-Madison Libraries, a key support system for learning in all disciplines.
For example, the funds were used to:
Extend weekday hours at College Library.
Add a lecture facility in Memorial Library with wireless Internet connections.
Provide reserve copies of high-use textbooks.
Create and information commons in the School of Journalism.
Create attractive reading areas for three heavily used collections.
Add more study space and a computer lab to Steenbock Library (the Agricultural and Life Sciences library close to the Lakeshore Dormitories).
Provide new chairs for group-study and quiet-study areas in College Library, one of the most popular libraries.
Purchase several laptops for students to check-out through the library.
Open the Open Book Café in College Library.
